- Are Acuras really that reliable?
- Yes — they're among the most reliable luxury platforms on the road, especially the J-series V6 and K-series 4-cyl. Most of the work we do on Acuras is preventive maintenance, not repair.
- Do I need dealer-only parts?
- No. OEM parts are widely available aftermarket (often the same Denso/Aisin parts the factory uses) and we use OEM-equivalent where it doesn't compromise quality. We'll tell you when factory-only is worth it.
- Can you do SH-AWD service in my driveway?
- Yes — rear differential and transfer case fluid services on MDX/RDX/RLX are very mobile-friendly jobs that take under an hour.
- Should I extend the timing-belt interval on my J35?
- No — follow Honda's spec. A snapped timing belt on an interference engine is one of the few catastrophic failures on a platform that's otherwise nearly bulletproof. Cheap insurance to do it on time.
- Will mobile Acura repair void my factory or extended warranty?
- No. Federal law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act) protects your right to have a qualified independent mechanic perform service without voiding the manufacturer warranty, as long as the work is done correctly and to spec. We document everything and use OEM-spec parts so your records hold up.
- Where do you serve?
- Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Apex, Wake Forest, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Clayton, Knightdale, Morrisville, Wendell, and Rolesville. We come to your home, office, or wherever the Acura is sitting.
- How fast can you come out?
- Most Acura appointments are booked same-week, and we can often do batteries, diagnostics, and brake jobs sooner when the schedule allows. Call 919-675-AUTO or request a quote and we'll text back with a window.
- What's your warranty?
- 12 months or 12,000 miles on parts and labor — whichever comes first. Same warranty whether we work on a base-model commuter or a flagship sport sedan.
