What we repair at your driveway

If it doesn't require a lift or a paint booth, we can usually do it on-site. That covers about 85% of what a traditional shop handles — without the tow, the loaner car, or the day off work.

  • Brake pads, rotors, calipers, brake fluid flush
  • Batteries — test, replace, and register (BMW/Mercedes/Audi/VW)
  • Alternators, starters, and full charging-system diagnostics
  • Check engine light diagnostics with live data and bidirectional testing
  • Oil leaks — valve covers, oil pan, cam/crank seals, oil filter housings
  • Cooling system — radiators, water pumps, thermostats, hoses, coolant flush
  • A/C diagnostics, recharge, and component replacement
  • Spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel injector cleaning
  • Belts, tensioners, pulleys, and idlers
  • Oil changes with OEM-spec oil and filter

What we don't do mobile

We're honest about our limits. The following jobs need a shop, and if your car needs one we'll tell you upfront and refer you to someone we trust: transmissions and clutches, head gaskets, timing chains on transverse engines, alignments, tires (mounting/balancing), exhaust welding, and major collision repair.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Is mobile auto repair really cheaper than a shop?
Usually, yes. We don't pay shop overhead (bays, lifts, front-desk staff), so our labor rates are competitive with or below traditional Raleigh shops. You also skip the cost of a tow and a day off work. The exception is jobs that genuinely need a lift — for those, a shop is the right call and we'll tell you.
Do you carry parts on the truck or do you have to leave to get them?
Most common parts (batteries, brake pads, common alternators, oil filters, coils, hoses) ride on the van. For vehicle-specific parts we pre-order before the appointment so we don't lose time. We confirm part availability before booking the visit.
What if you find something else wrong during the repair?
We call you with a clear explanation, a firm price, and the option to do it now or wait. We don't surprise-charge you. Most 'while we're in there' add-ons (a worn serpentine belt during an alternator job, for example) save real money — but the decision is always yours.
How do I get a quote?
Tell us the vehicle (year/make/model/mileage), the symptom or the service you need, and your ZIP code. You can use the quote form, text us, or call 919-675-AUTO. We respond with a ballpark and a time window — usually within the hour during business hours.
