- Do you register or program the new battery to my car?
- Yes — and this matters. Most vehicles built after 2010 (especially European) need the new battery 'registered' to the battery monitor (BMS/IBS) or the alternator will under-charge it and the new battery will fail early. We handle the BMW/Mercedes/Audi/VW/Volvo registration on-site with the right scan tool.
- How fast can you get to me for a dead battery?
- Same-day in most cases when you call before 2pm — usually within 2–4 hours. We carry the most common Group 35, 47/H5, 48/H6, 49/H8, and 94R AGM sizes on the truck.
- How do I know if I need a battery or an alternator?
- We test both before we sell you anything. A load test on the battery plus a charging-system test on the alternator tells us in 5 minutes whether the battery is bad, the alternator is under-charging, or there's a parasitic drain. We won't replace a good battery.
- What are the signs my car battery is failing?
- Slow cranking on cold mornings, dash lights that dim when you turn the key, having to jump the car after it sits a couple of days, a swollen battery case, or a 'check charging system' message. - Will I lose my radio presets and settings when the battery is swapped?
