- Do you have Porsche-specific scan tools?
- Yes. We use diagnostic equipment that reads Porsche-specific modules and live data — DME, PDK, PSM, PASM — not just generic OBD-II codes. That matters on a Porsche because many faults never trigger a check-engine light.
- Can you work on air-cooled or older 911s?
- We focus on water-cooled platforms from the 996 forward (Boxster, Cayman, 911, Panamera, Cayenne, Macan, Taycan). Air-cooled cars often need a marque specialist — we'll tell you honestly if your car is outside our wheelhouse.
- Are you cheaper than the dealer?
- Almost always — because we don't carry dealer overhead and we don't upsell. Bigger savings on labor than on parts; we use OEM or OEM-equivalent parts and bill the actual labor it takes, not a padded book time.
- Can you do Porsche pre-purchase inspections?
- Yes — Porsche PPIs are one of the things we do most. Quote-based for most models; specialty configurations (GT cars, Turbo S, Taycan) are quoted separately because the inspection takes longer.
- Will mobile Porsche repair void my factory or extended warranty?
- No. Federal law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act) protects your right to have a qualified independent mechanic perform service without voiding the manufacturer warranty, as long as the work is done correctly and to spec. We document everything and use OEM-spec parts so your records hold up.
- Where do you serve?
- Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Apex, Wake Forest, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Clayton, Knightdale, Morrisville, Wendell, and Rolesville. We come to your home, office, or wherever the Porsche is sitting.
- How fast can you come out?
- Most Porsche appointments are booked same-week, and we can often do batteries, diagnostics, and brake jobs sooner when the schedule allows. Call 919-675-AUTO or request a quote and we'll text back with a window.
- What's your warranty?
- 12 months or 12,000 miles on parts and labor — whichever comes first. Same warranty whether we work on a base-model commuter or a flagship sport sedan.
