- Do you have ISTA or factory-level BMW scan tools?
- Yes — ISTA-class equipment that reads every module on the car: DME, transmission, xDrive, ABS / DSC, comfort access, iDrive, headlights. Generic OBD-II readers miss most of what matters on a modern BMW.
- Can you register a new battery to the car?
- Yes — battery registration is required on most modern BMWs and many independent shops skip it. Without registration, the charging algorithm doesn't match the new battery, and battery life takes a real hit. We register every battery we install.
- Are you cheaper than BMW of Raleigh / Leith?
- Almost always — because we don't carry dealer overhead, we don't bundle 'inspection packages,' and we bill actual labor instead of padded book time. Bigger savings on labor than on parts; we use OE-spec parts and the same fluids the dealer uses.
- Can you do BMW pre-purchase inspections?
- Yes — BMW PPIs are among the highest-value PPIs we do because there are specific known issues by chassis and engine. M-cars and high-mileage Alpina / 7-series models sometimes need extra time and tooling, and we account for that before scheduling.
- Will independent service void my factory or extended warranty?
- No. Federal law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act) protects your right to use a qualified independent mechanic without voiding the manufacturer warranty, as long as the work is done correctly and to spec. We document everything and use OE-spec parts so your records hold up.
- Where do you serve?
- Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Apex, Wake Forest, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Clayton, Knightdale, Morrisville, Wendell, and Rolesville.
- What's your warranty?
- 12 months or 12,000 miles on parts and labor — whichever comes first. Same warranty whether we're working on a base-trim sedan or a flagship sport car.
